David (Colin Farrell) rents a car at a mysterious agency and finds himself on a road trip with a woman (Margot Robbie) he met at a wedding; together, they journey into their relationship histories.

An existential romantic comedy that desperately wants to be another Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004), but it’s slow, bland and pretentious.

The two stars are obviously attractive, but the whole fantasy bit involving the car rental service is contrived at best.
