In the small town of Winterlight, Kate and Everett (Alicia Silverstone, Oliver Hudson) are divorcing, but spend one last Christmas together in the company of children, new lovers and tons of awkwardness.

There’s something likable about the core of this film, depicting a middle-aged couple slowly realizing that they really are meant for each other.

But likability gets you so far; Melissa Joan Hart and her mother, serving as producers, shape the film as just another laugh-less, mechanic Yuletide offer from Netflix.
