A decade after the events in Avatar (2009), Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) has permanently left his human body and made a family together with Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña)… but the Pandora peace is once again disturbed by humans.
13 years after the original film comes a sequel that is pure Cameron: innovative, epic world-building, with groundbreaking technology, shot in immersive 3D and at a higher frame rate that guarantees that ultra-smooth video game look (if that’s your thing) – and a family-centered story that has touching moments, but not much depth.
Too protracted, even if the final 45 minutes are action-packed.
