A New York City CEO (Nicole Kidman) with a high sex drive puts her marriage and career in jeopardy by having an affair with a much younger intern (Harris Dickinson).

The Dutch writer-director was inspired by the erotic thrillers of the 1980s and ’90s for this drama which may not technically be a thriller but has a lot of tension because of how much is at stake.

A good cast; the best thing about the film is Kidman’s performance as a woman who needs to be dominated. Halina Reijn engagingly explores this character’s desires and takes them seriously.
