LIFE CAN START OVER IN AN INSTANT.

Right in the middle of their divorce, as Thomas (David Dencik) prepares to move out and start a new life with his girlfriend (Johanne Louise Schmidt), Ane (Trine Dyrholm) suffers a debilitating stroke.

A terrific showcase for Dyrholm as her character, an academic, struggles with putting her life back together while recovering, resentfully accepting her soon-to-be ex-husband’s help while he tries to deal with his conflicting emotions. Should he stay and give their marriage another shot (and would it be for the right reasons?), or go ahead with a divorce that was already in motion?

Reasonably engaging as tempers flare.
