Nick O’Brien (Gerard Butler) infiltrates a group of criminals known as Panthers, which reunites him with Donnie Wilson (O’Shea Jackson Jr.), and also sets him on collision course with the mafia.

Christian Gudegast continues his quest to make the best Heat rip-off possible, and this sequel is a notch above the 2018 film, providing us with an enjoyable performance by Butler as the recently divorced cop whose entanglement with the Panthers sends him off on a booze- and drug-fueled adventure.

The action and exotic locations compensate for a weaker script.
