ENTER A NEW DIMENSION OF STRANGE.
Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) tries to keep a teenager (Xochitl Gomez), who can travel between dimensions, safe from the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) who wants her powers.
Sam Raimi’s first film in almost a decade serves as a sequel to both Doctor Strange (2016) and WandaVision (2021). A wild ride where some of the film’s most amusing moments come in the shape of typical Raimi touches, including a zombie version of Strange, risen from the dead to help a Strange from another dimension battle the Scarlet Witch.
A lot of action, but it’s an uneven film and I wouldn’t have minded more daring and intense horror ingredients.
