Hobbs and Shaw (Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham) reluctantly team up in the hunt for a supervirus that has been injected into an MI6 agent (Vanessa Kirby) who’s now on the run…
The best movie in this franchise since Fast Five (2011) is a spin-off featuring two brawny stars whose constant feuding is part of the fun. Just as action-packed and outrageous as the last Fast & Furious entries, a Hollywood paella with ingredients from Mission: Impossible and Bond movies.
The running time and a dull, rainy final showdown are drawbacks, but additional charisma comes from Kirby and Idris Elba’s villain.
