FIND THE TRUTH.
Deena and Josh (Kiana Madeira, Benjamin Flores, Jr.) track down Christine Berman (Gillian Jacobs) who was a teenager in 1978; she starts telling them about the massacre at Camp Nightwing that summer.
Most of this second entry in the horror trilogy takes us to a time and place reminiscent of the Friday the 13th movies, but it offers much more fun. Gets off to a slow start, but we do get to know the characters better and once the killing starts there’s enough thrills and spills to keep you satisfied. Sadie Sink and Emily Rudd are engaging as feuding sisters who join forces to survive.
This time, the music echoes Jerry Goldsmith and James Horner.
