After the accidental death of his wife, Happy Gilmore (Adam Sandler) is about to drink himself to death… until a mission to help his daughter presents itself in the shape of a golf tournament.
A belated sequel to the 1996 film, one that shows how Sandler has become more family-oriented over the years, but also that little has changed when it comes to his comedy.
Fans will forgive the film’s many excesses, including a running time that turns the climactic game into a snooze-fest.
