THE ADVENTURE OF A NIGHTTIME.

At a time when their parents are arguing more, 12-year-old Stevie and her kid brother share an adventure in a dream world.

The filmmakers must have looked to various Pixar projects from the past for this film that comes with a clear message: in the real world, not everything is going to be perfect, but that’s OK.

The story and dream-world characters are not as engaging or clever as the best of Pixar, but the look of the film is richly designed and the siblings are portrayed with care, realism and charm; young Elias provides endearing chuckles.
