THIS AIN’T NO FIELD TRIP.
When B.J. (Jermaine Harris) has spent too much time with his white friends and forgotten about his cultural heritage, Joe (Tyler Perry) takes him on an educational road trip.
More like a spin-off to the Madea movies, because she only makes a brief appearance. Starts out promisingly, with a cheerfully silly approach to Black culture and generational conflicts.
There’s a real message here that Perry wants to convey… but the film’s overlong and the abrasive caricatures outstay their welcome.
2026-U.S. VOD. 111 min. Color. Written and directed by Tyler Perry. Cast: Tyler Perry (Joe/Madea/Brian), Jermaine Harris (B.J. Simmons), Amber Reign Smith (Destiny), Millie Jackson, Bethany Anne Lind, Jeremy Gimenez.
Trivia: Alternative title: Tyler Perry’s Joe’s College Road Trip. Co-produced by Perry.

Straight up classless doo doo.
