Jurassic World: Rebirth

A NEW ERA IS BORN.

A former military operative (Scarlett Johansson) and a paleontologist (Jonathan Bailey) are hired for a mission to retrieve blood samples from three types of dinosaurs, which will be used for very lucrative, medical purposes.

The franchise’s seventh chapter is an attempt to get back to the 1993 blockbuster (courtesy of the original screenwriter), and even echoes Jaws in a lengthy sequence out to sea.

As virtually all films in this series, it’s a gripping adventure with an engaging cast… but the mutated dinos, run-of-the-mill monsters, are a sign of desperation.

Quote: “We don’t rule the Earth. We just think we do. And sure, we’re changing the environment, but that makes us the ones to worry about, not the planet. When the Earth gets tired of us, believe me, it will shake us off like a summer cold. Of all species that have existed on Earth, 99.9 % of them are now extinct. Survival is a long shot.” (Bailey)
