WOMEN WANT HIM FOR HIS WIT. THE CIA WANTS HIM FOR HIS BODY. ALL NICK WANTS IS HIS MOLECULES BACK.
When a San Francisco stock analyst (Chevy Chase) suddenly becomes invisible while visiting a company, he finds himself a target of a CIA operative (Sam Neill).
A labor of love for Chase who wanted to do something different, but ended up in an uncomfortable collaboration with horror director John Carpenter, who fails to add a personal touch. Neither Chase nor Daryl Hannah makes for a convincing romantic couple and the story is weak.
However, the visual effects were creative at the time and much is made of Chase’s invisibility.
