Four exceptionally wealthy Silicon Valley tycoons gather for a wintry weekend of leisure as the world is thrown into turmoil because of AI-generated disinformation.

For his feature directing debut, Jesse Armstrong was inspired by the unholy alliance between far-right politicians and manipulative tech bros. It’s a piece of satire in the vein of Armstrong’s TV hit Succession, but even more nightmarish as the weekend descends into a game of life and death.

Clever and well cast, but also cruel, with shallow characters.
