Paddington and his British family go to Peru to visit his aunt, but learn that she’s gone missing in the jungle.

The third film in this franchise finds a new actress to play Mary Brown and adds two stars, Olivia Colman and Antonio Banderas, who are clearly enjoying their turns as a cheerful Reverend Mother with a secret and a riverboat captain with a lust for gold (that he shares with his ancestors, all played by Banderas as specters).

Shades of Herzog in this jungle adventure with amiable enough ingredients, even if the slapstick is on the weak side.
