AT THE END OF THE WORLD, THE ADVENTURE BEGINS.

Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) is rescued from limbo, but our heroes have dangerous enemies to fight in order to preserve a future for the pirates of the Caribbean.

The third chapter of this bombastic series is ridiculously protracted and there are many scenes where not even the presence of Depp makes up for the lulls. Chow-Yun Fat’s character is totally superfluous, and not even Keith Richards’s cameo is all that great.

Still, you do get a few decent action sequences and the actors are clearly having fun.
