The tenth film in this series became a box-office failure; the visual effects may still be a major attraction, but there is little true imagination left in the concept.
It’s not a bad story (there’s musings on the meaning of identity), and fans will enjoy personal touches like Riker’s wedding, but the lack of tension (apart from the final battle) is a real liability.
