In 1846, pirates are heading for Cayman Brac where a woman who used to be known as Bloody Mary is hiding, possibly with a cache of gold.

This swashbuckler/action movie doesn’t rely solely on Priyanka Chopra as the clever former pirate who knows how to set traps and use whatever sharp or explosive weapon she can find to fight invaders, but she’s undeniably fun to watch. The film also moves fast, has lots of varied action and a suitably sneering Karl Urban as Chopra’s former lover/captor.

Evocative Australian locations stand in for the Caribbeans.
