When Buffalo car salesman Dan Morgan (Mark Wahlberg) is suddenly attacked, his life unravels; he’s actually a retired assassin who now must protect his family, who know nothing about his past.

Sort of the action-comedy equivalent of National Lampoon’s Vacation (1983), as the Morgans go on a road trip to Vegas, with dad fighting killers while desperately trying to hide the truth from his wife and kids.

Very contrived, but fun most of the way, even if the final showdown (involving an underused Ciarán Hinds) is too drawn-out.
