CAN YOU KEEP A SECRET?

Millie Calloway (Sydney Sweeney) desperately needs a job and Nina Winchester (Amanda Seyfried) desperately needs a housemaid… but it’s far from a match made in heaven.

A thriller that fits Paul Feig’s glossy, sly style quite well. Just like the bestseller, it’s an enjoyable ride, with the right amount of sex and danger as the secrets of the Winchesters slowly emerge, leading up to a bloody climax. There are a few changes from the novel, but they’re made with what’s best for this box-office hit in mind.

Effective cast, especially Seyfried who does a good job balancing Nina’s wildly different personality traits.
