No one really asked for a third chapter in this franchise, which has always been technically cutting-edge, but emotionally cold. This one was a box-office flop, but still has gorgeous visuals, offering an irresistibly stylish future in tune with a pounding Nine Inch Nails score.
Thrilling at times; Jared Leto is OK as a program with a budding conscience.
