Melania

TWENTY DAYS TO HISTORY.

Brett Ratner’s first film in a decade aims to depict the work behind Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration in 2025, while also trying to humanize the First Lady.

Meant to be viewed as a behind-the-scenes look, but we don’t learn anything of interest and certainly come nowhere closer to Melania herself, whose droning narrating voice has only clichés to offer.

Competently filmed, but boring; Ratner tries to capture the pomp and awe of the Trump regime, but doesn’t have the talent of, say, Leni Riefenstahl.

2026-U.S. 104 min. Color. Widescreen. Directed by Brett Ratner. Cinematography: Barry Peterson, Dante Spinotti, Jeff Cronenweth.

Trivia: Co-produced by Ratner and Melania Trump. The excessive marketing budget for the film led to accusations against Amazon and its owner for trying to buy President Trump’s loyalty.
