Two budding artists (Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen, Maxwell Cunningham) are invited to the swank home of an art patron (Carla Sehn)… but it isn’t her house, and she’s not who she says she is.
Julia Thelin’s directing debut is a thriller-drama that doesn’t offer much tension, but keeps us hooked thanks to the social games between the three attractive leads. The story may not lead to much, but we remain curious about Sehn’s cleaner and her life of lies.
It’s a good lead performance and there are isolated moments that emphasize the short-lived allure of her choices in visually arresting ways.
