Jimmy Mattsson (Göran Stangertz) abruptly ends his military service and is hired as a high-school teacher… but sleeping with one of the 16-year-old students (Ann Zacharias) causes a problem.
One of the most celebrated films by Janne Halldoff had male critics cheering, but what’s supposed to be a study of a young man’s mental issues leaves a bad taste, especially with a camera that hungrily keeps exploring 17-year-old Zacharias’s naked body.
Shallow and frustrating, even if sculptor Berto Marklund’s amateur performance is a highlight.
