IT WILL NEVER STOP.
In a small Victoria town, teenagers Naim and Ryan (Joe Bird, Stacy Clausen) begin a romance, but are soon subjected to a religious ritual that invites something evil into their lives.
The title is a reference to a part of the Bible that is frequently used to excuse homophobia; the story employs supernatural horror as symbolism of how much damage conversion therapy can cause. An ingenious idea for a film, and the two leads deliver heartfelt, grounded performances that make us believe in their love.
As for the horror, it’s serviceable but nothing out of the ordinary.
