jackass presents: Bad Grandpa

When 86-year-old Irving Zisman (Johnny Knoxville) finally becomes a widower he’s ready to go looking for some prime Black tail, but is suddenly saddled with his young grandkid (Jackson Nicoll).

The fourth entry in the jackass franchise takes a different approach as it focuses solely on a character from earlier movies and the TV show, the old fart who plays pranks on others, candid-camera style. In other words, much of this is more Borat than jackass.

Far too many lulls, but enthusiastically played by the two leads, and the beauty pageant scene is brilliant.

2013-U.S. 92 min. Color. Directed by Jeff Tremaine. Screenplay: Spike Jonze, Johnny Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine. Cast: Johnny Knoxville (Irving Zisman), Jackson Nicoll (Billy), Georgina Cates (Kimmy).

Trivia: Jonze and Catherine Keener also make heavily disguised appearances. Also released in an alternate version called Bad Grandpa .5, with additional footage.
