ONE STEALS, ONE KILLS, ONE LOVES, ONE DIES.

A gang of rustlers headed by Tom Logan (Jack Nicholson) find themselves in conflict with an eccentric ”regulator” (Marlon Brando).

Arthur Penn’s Western was considered a bomb by many after its premiere, but there’s been some reevaluation over the years. Much of it depends on your stomach for Brando’s shenanigans as the bird-watching, Irish-American killer. Many scenes feel like they’re mostly feeding into his self-indulgence – at the same time, he’s a lot of fun to watch.

Not much of a story here though.
