Louise Legrand (Virginie Efira) accidentally hits Pierre (Benjamin Lavernhe) with her car; he soon becomes a very unexpected, oddly endearing part of her life.
This potential friendship or even romance between a man with Asperger’s and a widow who’s on the verge of losing her pear orchard has a fine cast and sweet moments; Efira adds beauty and charm.
But it’s a little hard to swallow it all when the clichés are so persistent in terms of story, relationships and that impossibly polished Provence cinematography.
