Scott (Paul Rudd), his teenage daughter (Kathryn Newton), Hope (Evangeline Lilly) and her parents (Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer) are sucked into the Quantum Realm where they face a mighty new enemy (Jonathan Majors).

The third Ant-Man film is a disappointing first chapter of MCU’s ”Phase Five”, one that introduces a promising villain in the shape of Kang, but often feels like its protagonists (and we) are trapped in a generic-looking universe where effects-laden battles take place without really raising our pulse.

Also, Lilly’s character is often in shot, but doesn’t get to do much.
