THE PAST NEVER FORGETS.
Lisbeth Salander (Claire Foy) is hired to get her hands on a computer program built to access the world’s nuclear codes.
Seven years after The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo came this sequel, based on a novel that wasn’t part of the original ”Millennium” trilogy. Intensely focused on Salander’s past and present, the film introduces her twin sister and forces her to face the consequences of a decision she made when she was a child.
Visually, Fede Álvarez follows in David Fincher’s footsteps; a few exciting action scenes, but this is largely a very weak entry.
