CONFESS YOUR SINS.

Due to her experience with the demon Valak in the early 1950s, Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga) is sent by a cardinal to investigate a series of strange deaths.

The two lead characters from the first movie spend much of this sequel apart; Maurice is still battling the demon on a personal level, as he forms a bond with a girl who looks up to him.

There are times when the filmmakers deliver more than just clichés; creepy atmosphere, some of the shocks are quite good and the last half-hour very intense.
