MEETING THE PARENTS… IT’S A NECESSARY EVIL.

A gay couple (Nik Dodani, Brandon Flynn) rent a house for the weekend and invite their parents, little dreaming that it’s haunted.

As if getting to know your in-laws over the weekend isn’t enough… The idea for this horror-comedy is clever, even if the final results don’t quite live up to its potential, especially near the end, as chaos reigns. Still, there’s a lot of fun leading up to it, especially thanks to a cast of pros; Lisa Kudrow, Dean Norris, Brian Cox and Edie Falco make the most out of their relatable and recognizable folks.

It also helps to see more effort put into the horror than just a simple ghost.
