WITNESS THE RETURN OF JIGSAW.

After Spiral (2021), a spin-off without Jigsaw, the sadistic murderer returned for this sequel set sometime between the first and second Saw entries, when John Kramer (Tobin Bell) learns of a groundbreaking medical procedure in Mexico that might cure his cancer.

That’s the beginning of a surprisingly good story that delivers the expected gore for fans of the franchise, but also makes us care about Kramer and his mission, thanks to a strong performance by Bell.

At this stage, Jigsaw’s traps fail to surprise us, but it’s still bloody entertaining; a few familiar faces are also welcome back.
