Louise (Pascale Ogier), who lives in the suburbs of Paris with her lover (Tchéky Karyo), decides that she really needs to spend more time in her apartment in the city, where she finds greater freedom.
The fourth film in Éric Rohmer’s ”Comedies & Proverbs” series depicts a woman who challenges her romantic relationship and begins to sleep around in Paris, while her best male friend (Fabrice Luchini) lusts after her (to no avail).
A frustrating bunch of people; the film is of minor interest as an illustration of the need for honesty in relationships.
