When former bank robber Anker (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) is released from prison after many years, he goes looking for hidden loot in the company of his mentally unstable brother (Mads Mikkelsen) – who prefers to be accepted as John Lennon.
Fans of the director won’t be disappointed; this is yet another comedy bringing together disparate characters who form an unusual family, in this case a band of psych patients who believe that they’re the Beatles, or ABBA. Expect people who say and do the craziest things, and also a lot of blood.
Absurd, and satisfying; Mikkelsen goes all in as the enthusiastically suicidal brother.

Last word: “I don’t try to mock. And this is an elevated story, it’s sort of absurd. I think it’s fantastic that we live in a part of the world at a time where everybody can seek out who they are and become who they really are. But when the surroundings have to adapt to the reality of one individual, things become absurd. That’s basically where a lot of the comedy in the movie comes from.” (Jensen, The Hollywood Reporter)
