THE PINK PANTHER DIAMOND IS MISSING… AND THE WORLD’S GREATEST DETECTIVE IS SOLVING THE CASE ONE MISTAKE AT A TIME.
The coach of the French national soccer team is murdered and his huge, famous Pink Panther diamond ring is stolen; it’s up to Inspector Clouseau (Steve Martin) to find the killer.
A reboot of the classic Pink Panther films, but Hollywoodized in a negative way, with a tired formula that includes a pointless visit to New York City for the bumbling policeman.
Still, it could have been worse. Martin has a few moments where his Clouseau is actually funny, and Jean Reno provides a good straight man; however, Kevin Kline is wasted as the arrogant Dreyfus.
