Let It Rain

A retired theater director and recent widower (Robert Gustafsson) learns that he has the ability to conjure rain at will by using a concealed tap that he finds in his garden.

The Man Called Ove director finds another curmudgeon for this drama-comedy that takes on a father-daughter bond and satirizes local politics, in this case the leaders of a small community that see a chance in ”the rainmaker” to put their town on the map.

Good cast, but neither the magical realism nor the relationships are explored in depth.
