During the Lapland War, gold digger Aatami Korpi (Jorma Tommila) finds himself in deadly conflict with a platoon of German Nazis.

A natural move for the director after having fun with Samuel L. Jackson in Big Game (2014). Inspired by First Blood (1982) and the story of a real-life Finnish sniper during the war, Jalmari Helander created this Western-style action flick with a quiet, aging hero who has special skills that he puts to great use as he keeps finding bloody ways to decimate the platoon.

Enjoyable, even if Tommila’s indestructibility gets ridiculous at times.
