TILL DEATH DO US PART.
Lars and Lisa (Aksel Hennie, Noomi Rapace), a director and an actress who are married, head out to their isolated cabin, both of them planning to kill the other.
A grim variation on The War of the Roses (1989) that spirals into something else when it turns out that three runaway murderers are hiding in the cabin and take the couple hostage. What follows is a bloody mess, with lots of laughs and bizarre violence, as expected from Tommy Wirkola. The cast is clearly having fun, but things get a little too over-the-top at times.
Most relatable scene: Hennie’s dad trying to figure out how a modern car works.
