Becket Redfellow (Glen Powell) was raised by a single mother who had been disowned from her wealthy family; deciding he deserves to inherit the family fortune, he starts killing those who stand in his way.

Sounds grim, but this is a modern spin on the classic Ealing comedy Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949), a movie that wants to offer both laughs and suspense.

As Powell (OK in the lead) befriends relatives who are about to become his victims, the tone is lighthearted, but when darkness descends the filmmakers find it hard to maintain a good balance.
