Director Dag Johan Haugerud was inspired by Kieslowski’s Three Colors trilogy as he embarked on a project that would have different settings and characters, but share certain themes.

This film begins with a chimney sweep (Jan Gunnar Røise) and his supervisor (Thorbjørn Harr) sharing a peculiar dream involving David Bowie and a homosexual encounter that may or may not be emotionally significant (just ask his wife).

Masculinity is challenged throughout the film; uneven, but the thoughtful, human and probing attitude helps. Engaging music score by Peder Capjon Kjellsby.

2024-Norway. 125 min. Color. Written and directed by Dag Johan Haugerud. Music: Peder Capjon Kjellsby. Cast: Jan Gunnar Røise (Chimney sweep), Thorbjørn Harr (Supervisor), Siri Forberg (Accountant), Birgitte Larsen (Sociologist), Theo Dahl, Nasrin Khusrawi.

Trivia: The other two films in the trilogy are Love and Dreams (Sex Love), both released in 2024.
