MEET THE WOMAN WHO MADE THE FIRST MOVE.
The story of how a young female entrepreneur became involved in the development of Tinder, found herself sexually harassed by one of its key figures, and then went on to create a similar dating app, albeit one with a clear feminist profile.
Bumble may be nowhere as much of a cultural phenomenon as Tinder, but it’s an interesting tale (written without Whitney Wolfe’s participation because of an NDA).
Lacks a certain edge, but Lily James is fine and the film captures some of the spark in, and dangers of, a freewheeling startup.
