YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

In 1968, pregnant housewife Joy Griffin (Elizabeth Banks) becomes painfully aware of what it means to live in a society that denies its citizens healthcare in the form of abortions.

A drama depicting the Jane Collective that performed illegal abortions in Chicago in the years leading up to Roe v. Wade. Based on actual events, but with fictitious characters, the film shows our lead character getting her political awakening, but also finding true friendship in the collective.

Conventionally made, with expected dramatic highs and lows, but it’s worth a look, with a fine cast.
