SURVIVING THE CRASH IS JUST THE BEGINNING.

Somewhere in the Pacific, a flight bound for Shanghai makes an emergency landing; soon, the survivors realize that sharks are their greatest threat.

It’s a promising start, with a decent cast of characters and a pretty terrifying crash, brought to life with spectacular visual effects. But after that, it’s as if someone decided that since we hired the director of Deep Blue Sea (1999), we need to have sharks.

Sadly, it’s a bad idea. The rest of the film has much worse effects and a bland survival drama.
