REBEL WITHOUT A CAGE.

Washed-up action star Johnny Cage (Karl Urban) is approached by people with strange powers who need him to fight with them in an upcoming Mortal Kombat tournament.

Just as promised in the end of the last movie, Johnny Cage gets to make his entrance; Urban is a shot in the arm as the wisecracking, high-kicking, Van Damme-esque former star who learns of new realms and creatures.

Pretty generic, but entertaining enough, with decent fight sequences; you don’t need to be well versed in this franchise to get something out of it.
