SHE’S THE BOSS NOW.
Sidestepped corporate strategist Linda Liddle (Rachel McAdams) and her CEO, the insufferable son (Dylan O’Brien) of the company’s founder, end up alone on an island after a plane crash.
A classic Hollywood set-up where two people who hate each other must learn to overcome crisis together – McAdams and O’Brien deliver in their cartoonish roles, especially the former as the mousy Linda who’s learned a lot from watching Survivor.
Fans of the director will appreciate some of the film’s twisted, absurdly gory and amusing moments, even if it’s not the knock-out we were hoping for.
