A NEW DAY. A NEW THREAT. A HERO REBORN.

The fourth film in the franchise picks up where No Way Home (2021) left off, after Peter Parker’s great sacrifice that has left him alone and isolated. As Spider-Man, he senses a disturbing change in his superpowers… and there’s a new villain using telepathy.

Gets off to an engaging start, with good action (Hulk does what we expect) and chases. We have a solid effort from Tom Holland as a maturing Peter.

But it is also an overlong stop on the road to Avengers: Doomsday with too much baggage and a tepid second half.
