One day on an island, a young Pookoo makes a fatal mistake involving a Javan bird and a magical pod that causes bodies to be swapped.

A fantasy involving animals that look reminiscent of species on Earth, but definitely are their own thing; that also goes for the film’s villain, a Firewolf. Good music score and colorful design, this adventure also includes a twist we don’t see coming.

Likable enough for kids, but lackluster in so many ways; weak when it comes to jokes, story and characterizations.
