AVERAGE
Lars Martin Johansson (Rolf Lassgård) has retired, but after surviving a stroke he needs rehabilitation and turns his attention to a cold case, the murder of a girl.
The third and last chapter in this franchise (the first installation was Death of a Pilgrim (2013)) starring Lassgård as a veteran detective who always knew how to predict someone’s next move has a natural sadness to it, as his condition compels him to ponder what lies ahead. At the same time, his friendship with a former colleague (Helena af Sandeberg) grows stronger and he finds a new ally in a Russian, Max, who serves as his feet on the ground.
No surprises, but a dignified farewell to a curmudgeon.
